None. The only reason marijuana is illegal is the government hasn't figured out a way to control sales and tax it.

1. Truly medicinal benefits without the side effects of harsh narcotics.
2. I see an above answer that says less stoned drivers. What about all the drunk drivers out there. It can be classified in the same sense as alcohol.
3. Less people going to already overcrowded prisons for selling it.
4. TAX REVENUES!

I marked this question interesting! I personally think its probably less harmful than drinking alcohol,but even during the Prohibition era, people who wanted to drink bad enough always found away .The same thing goes for pot ! If they want it bad enough they will find it. Maybe by keeping it illegal,it might deter young people from doing it.(we can only hope).I will tell you this, If they ever do legalize it ,you can bet your but they tax the heck out of it!!
