I would hand wash it in woolite or a cold water detergent, but I would use just warm water, and keep dunking then rinsing until the water runs clear. . . . squeeze by hand, roll in a large towel (you may have to do this again with another towel) then fluff ON THE AIR CYCLE of the dryer for about 4 minutes, set and let it finish by itself to dry.

It will come out clean and fresh. Don't forget the downey!

Don't submerge it in water. You'll never get it to dry on the inside and it might get moldy.

Try a spray-on upholstery cleaner (foam stuff) and work it in with a wet terry cloth. Get all the surfaces, but don't soak any one area. When it's done, you can let it air dry or use a hair dryer. If it's a little stiff on the surface when it's dry, use a hair brush to fluff the fur back up.

ok, take a towel, wet it down & wring it out, do spot cleaning on the stuffed animal if anything is REALLY vile spot wise on it, then toss it and the damp towel in the dryer with several dryer sheets, the towel will pull the dirt and dust off it, while the dryer sheets will make it smell good. and it'd be more gentle on a 20 yr old stuffed animal..:D take care!! 20-30 minutes and it should be good ta go.

probably just fill up your sink with warm water and like dish washing soap and get a rag and just rub it down till its soapy then use a non-soapy wet rag to wash the soap off. dont get it sopping wet or it will possibly ruin the interior of it.

Try washing it in Woolite. Wash it in the COLD or in the GENTLE cycle.

That did the trick for me.
