My son calls me by my first name, unless he is sick or hurt

As a teen, I began calling my parents by their first names. Im not sure they ever liked it much, but I rarely if ever called them Mom or Dad again.

Mom, but I wouldnt have a problem if she called me by my first name.
I used to call my parents by their first names when I was younger-- although now they're "mom" and "dad"

They're kids not adults with no manners! It's Mom or go to your room until my name is addressed properly. Never had to do that though. They're great little munchkins!

Mom works here except for some times that they either want something or know they're in trouble.. then it's mommy. They are such sad things to think that actually helps. LOL

I don't have kids yet - but my brothers and I have always called our parents by their first names. That is how we were brought up.

Usually it's Mom. When they want something, it's Mommy. When i'm not paying attention to them or I don't hear them, they call me by my first name. I'm sure when I say No, they use other names......like witch...but different. =)

Theirs a problem w/ u if they call u by your first name and they call grama and grampa mom and dad!!
