Hello,

Does anybody know a computer screen brand that makes your eyes less tired and painfull to watch than traditional screens?

My eyes feel sore from working behind it 12hrs a day. I take constant breaks and keep the brightness of my laptop screen relatively low. I want to know if there are any technical ways I can decrease eye soreness from computer screens.

Thanks in advance

I spent the same amount of time most days, but I do travel from site to site, in the office I use a pair of 20", and instead of running at the normal 1280x1024, I run them at 1152x864 to increase the screen size so I can afford to sit further back to avoid having the screen in front of my face, this works really well.

I have found that if your eyes hurt from looking at the screen for long periods of time, put a light behind the monitor(not a real bright one) but just enough to take the edge off the brightness of the screen. It creates a kind of border, so it doesn't go from dark edge to GLARING screen.
It works for me anyway.
Hope this helps.
