It depends on what kind of upsetting thing, if its more hurtful then crying, but more aggravating then yelling. and sometimes when something hurts you, you can't cry. Which actually kind of sucks because then its just like frozen pain, whereas at least crying is a release, and yelling is a release as well.

Id rather cry, rather than making another person upset by yelling at them.

First I yell, as I have a very hot temper. Then I break down and cry and maybe break something.

depending on the situation, i yell or cry. usually cry. but if I get really angry or stepped on then I yell.

I barely ever cry inless it is over something stupid like a song ,movie, or book. I more like get defensive and yup, sometimes yell.

I do neither.. I just turned really quiet, and try to leave the source of my upsetness (like a person irritating me, etc... )
