hi all, i have just finished about 3 weeks ago my first dose of 50 mg, clomid. i got my period yesterday, and the cramps were so intense i went to the hospital. i dont kno what to think, because they couldnt tell me anything, so can anyone tell me .. is this how its going to be!!! on saturday i have to start it again at 100mg, is it going to be worse .. any info will be appriciated.

i have had my overies checked and i have no cyst, my cervix looks normal too.. my bledding finally calmed down, now im on cycle day 2. but the pain was unbearable.. im glad its over but im scared of doing another month ofg clomid never mind 2 more... i had alot of hotflashes, and dizziness, does it get worse the stronger the mg?

My periods were a lot worse when I was on Clomid, especially when it actually made me ovulate. I had awful cramps and heavier bleeding. I found out a little way down the road that I had a polyp in my uterus which could have been a contributing factor to that. Maybe you could have your doctor do a saline sonogram (a vaginal ultrasound where they seal off your cervix and inject saline to expand your uterus and look for stuff like polyps, fibroids or a septum.) If you do have that done, be sure you take some pain medication ahead of time because it does cause a lot of cramping if you don't!

I did, I had heavy long periods, very bad cramps, and real bad hot flashes

i also had a terrible period (heavy bleeding and bad ovulation pain). i took Tylenol and that helped a lot. have you checked with your OB/GYN?
