I know the Dolce means "sweet" in Italian, but it is weird to name a baby that name in the United States? Thanks for help!

Yes I do think that it would be weird to name your baby Dolce because it's half of that brand Dolce and Gabana right? Dolce also means "sweet" in french and it sounds feminine to me because you usually call a girl, not a boy sweet. I think Dolce would be more suited to a girl, if you really want to use tha name.

Yeah, pretty weird. I want to say who cares what others think, but this isn't about others. It's about the kid with that name. Hopefully he won't care if others think his name is weird, who knows maybe he'll just own it and become a huge celebrity and everyone will be like "omg I love Dolce" and the next thing you know everyone will be naming their kids Dolce.

No offense, but the only Dolce I know of is Dolce & Gabbana. You'd be better off with another name.

I guess it won't be weird if you use that name for a baby girl, instead of a baby boy :)

Not if your Italian. I know how to say that I am Mexican in Mexico you would say Dulce.

BUT!!!!!!!!!!

First of all who are you going to let taste you baby. Second you are in America so people can you please stop naming kids names that their friends and teachers can not pronounce. It is hard for the child when they get teased.
