I generally found the quickest solution to be peeling off all those little stickers and putting them all back as I liked. Total cheating but it kept me happy aged 8 in the 1980's. We even had the book "How to Solve the Rubik Cube" by some 13-year-old whiz-kid but it was just tooooo dull to stomach!

You will not be able to solve a rubiks cube from an answer given on here. It is far too involved to give the answer anyway. At best, all I can say is that it is a series of moves that you need to memorise in order to complete the puzzle. It is no more complicated than that.

If you want to learn how to solve the Rubik's cube, try one of these websites for solutions. I find them pretty easy to understand:

If you just want to get your Rubik's cube solved, here's a website with a program that solves your cube for you:

Hope this helps! ;D

I use to know many moons ago.

Look it up on the internet there's bound to be a solution then it's just a case of practice and memory.

Rolsy is right about the sequence of moves and the lengthy answer problem.

It can be solved in only 26 moves whatever state it is in!! It is official and the article is here:

Now you will need a PhD in Mathematics to understand the research paper.

Hope this helps.

.Its too much information to put on here,I used to be able to do it,in the 80's you could buy a solver, it was a little booklet.

My daughter has never forgotten and can still do it 18 years after she learned the technique.

It is very complicated.
