Ask him why and sound Curious! then if it sounds un-right then confront his wife and let her know! it;s alot better than wondering! and jus chill hes probly just being freindly and doesnt realy know how to deal with the situation! If he never buys his wife theise things then confront her!

yeah, thats weird. is he independantly wealthy and does his wife already have too many diamonds. if not just say no .
