No. Conservatives historically give more to charities than liberals do. Ergo Conservatives are more compassionate than liberals.
Conservatives just don't want the government wasting better than 65% of what should be used for compassion on buracracy and graft. Which by the way is what liberals want to happen. They want government to take care of EVERYTHING.
With the ideas of present day liberals now compassionate liberal would be an oxymoron. *LOL*

any educated person can tell you conservatives donate more time and money to humanitarian causes than liberals.
The liberal think it is the Rich peoples responsibility. Conservatives it is a personal responsibility.
