I saw the question, it was cute. It never ceases to amaze me what is reported and what is allowed to stay. There is a big difference in not following the guidelines to the letter and things that are abusive to others. There needs to be a way to differentiate when a report is made and maybe just a warning and explanation could be given, if it's a minor infraction, instead of a violation.
Happy Halloween to you too!

Happy Halloween to you too! I don't understand these violations and Yahoo has yet to answer my objections.
I wish there was some sort of "restraining order" that could be issued against these people.

I missed it! If you were smart enough to delete your question, then you won't end up with a violation...that's how this game is "played". No one is perfect & if someone gives you a "heads-up", then they are only trying to help you (sometimes). When you publish their user name & tell what they did, then it can make things bad for both of you at a later time.
I speak from experience.
Btw, your Q is in violation of the guidelines, but it serves a good purpose as a learning tool about this site, so let's see what happens! At this point, it's ALL a test! YAHOO DOES NOT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT REAL ABUSERS USING THIS SITE. If you know what I mean!

I think changes need to be made and violations should be for rude or offensive or threatening answers and questions. Not the minor infractions like telling jokes and such. We are just trying to socialize and have fun here. happy halloweeny

no, and it's a good thing you deleated it. some people are real jerks out there. i've actually been reported twice and i thought they were harmless. some people thought they weren't. But yes you can get a violation notion and it has happened to me and as you can see i am still here.

She seems to be upsetting others here this week. Wonder what the deal is. (?) Anyway, you're in good company, so just laugh it off.

I didn't see your question, sorry if you got reported. That's so sad that somebody doesn't have anything better to do. I still haven't figured out why they care.OH WELL.
You have a very HAPPY HALLOWEEN too, and don't get scared.

I thought it was hilarious! Some people are good citizens and play by the rules to an exactness few of us ever achieve.
Expect those type people to police everything and everyone they come into contact with---maybe they just cannot help themselves.
