i support man u because my dad lived there && supported them when he was younger. He then moved to birmingham, den i just ended up supporting man u too because him && my brother did. I love man utd and would never change, but for some reason i still think that if i could choose again myself i would support birmingham or villa so i could see my team play every week instead of just seeing them 4 or 5 times a season...is that wrong?? wat you think?

I feel you. I live in the states and visit my family in the Hammersmith area of London on a regular basis. The majority ( say, 60%) love Fulham and won't speak to the others, who support Chelsea, on gamedays. I chose Chelsea for myself before their ascent...which paid off. But, now those same family Fulham fans have a bad habit of not answering their phones when I call or don't return e-mails. I say go with what you want; does it really matter in the end? You can't carry on trying to make someone else happy...that's akin to self imposed slavery, isn't it?

I have supported Liverpool during the Dalglish-Barnes era then switched to Chelsea because of Jose Mourinho (not Grant's Chelsea). And never much like Arsenal and Man Utd although they both worlclass teams. (this is odd because I admire Wenger and Sir Alex highly as managers). At one point in time, I watched out for Newscastle's results when Owen played. Now I hope Man City does well this season (Eriksson IS good).

I think the ONLY ONE team that I support forever is England's National Team (NOT the coaches, they're NOT qualified, exception Erikkson) - meaning: I support English football players even though they have not won anything for 40 years - strange... but there's something magical in Peter Shilton's intelligence, John Barnes' dexterity, Beckham's pin-point accuracy, Owen's poaching finishes, Lampard's out-of-nowhere winners, Garragher's wall-like defending...

...none of these make any sense because I am not a Brit, nor am I living in the UK. I guess I am in love with England. Forever.

I support Everton because of the 1977 F A cup semi final. My dad took both myself and my brother to the game. My bro supported Liverpool while I was only 6 and hadn't started supporting anyone yet. Well for those who know this game it included a famous last minute winner by Everton which the ref later admitted he was wrong to disallow. I figured I couldn't support Liverpool as, in my eyes, they were cheats and thus supported Everton instead. 30 years on I wouldn't change a thing.

Liverpool is my team because my dad and brother have always supported them and grew up watching them & as i'v gotten older(i'm 14) i really think the history behind the club is amazing! oh and they don't have a team of players who go down injured every 10 secs oh i got hit in the face...but your holding your leg? before anyone says it i didn't say no player does it just not as many as others!!

I used to skip school and come home to watch the Champions League, and usually they showed their games. I fell in love in the Champions League semi-final against Monaco, ever since I bleed blue forever!

I have also been supporting Real Madrid since I was 2 because I loved their uniforms but Chelski is the best, forget the rest!!!!!

my old man followed the Spurs when they were a great side....in the 60's...yeah that long ago, with the likes of Greaves,Blanchflower,Chivers and his favourite Dave Mackay...hard as they come is what me old man would tell me,he would watch Spurs when they were at home then when they were away hed go and watch chelsea..cause he had a mate who played for them.....things were different in his day...it was all about the football and not about the money...so basically i followed my old man..just like my son follows me(even though hes a swansea season ticket holder)thats the local team he loves his Spurs
