Im a huge phillies fan, but Im going to be honest, the Phillies chances of landing A-Rod are slim. But, if they do get him, the Phillies offense will be unbeatable. A-Rod hit 53 HR last year and Howard hit 47, plus with Jroll and Burrell hitting a constant 25-30 thats 180+ HRs. If the Phillies sign A-Rod
he'll hit 85 next year.

Mrs Arod's face would be red if she ever flipped off the Philly fans like she did in NY.

One thing for sure, if he goes to the Phillies he will hit 80 home runs a season. Citizen's Bank Park is a launching pad to be sure. Personally I like the Phillies chances next season. Whether A-Rod would be a help or hindrance remains to be seen.

I'd wouldn't mind seeing him in an already powerful line up.

No I wouldn't like to see A-Rod in a Phillie uniform >.< Actually I wouldn't like to see A-Rod anywhere near a baseball field but then again that's not possible.
Realistically speaking, I don't think the Phillies are looking to sign A-Rod. I think A-Rod will end up with the Giants

I don't want to see him in Phila, and he won't wind up there. The Phillies have plenty of other spots to worry about on their roster, like getting Rowand back and Pitching.

I would however, like to see someone with a good bat protecting Howard. Maybe A-Rod is the answer, I doubt it tho.

I highly doubt that A-rod would want to play for the Phillies.

We would spend everything on him and have nothing left for
1. relif pitching
2. another starter
3. a less selfish 3rd baseman (Lowell or Atkins )
4. the Cubs so they can waste more money and still not win a world series
