The last time I went rick or treating I was 14. I am now 16 and I have a three year old brother that wants to go trick or treating. When I take him, do I go to the door with him and get candy?Or do I stand in the backround? What do yall think?

Well, it is normally children that traditionally trick or treat but the way i see it, halloween only comes round once a year and you're only 16- might as well make the most of it.

okay yes stand in the background and let him go to the door and if someone looks suspicious tell your brother to say thank you so that they know you are there . You have to be carefull and yes you are a little too old to go trick or treating . around here they stop by 9 pm . mostly young kids though .

I guess most older kids or adults stand in the background. If you know someone well, go to the door with him.
I guess they could always say 'you're a little old for this, aren't you?'. lol

You are NOT too old to go trick-or-treating with him. You can go up to the door with him, but if it makes you feel babyish, you absolutely DON'T have to accept candy. Just say No Thanks
