The oldest age that I went trick-or-treating was when I was fourteen years old. Do you think that people should stop trick-or-treating at a certain age? Or do you think that it's ok for anyone of any age to go trick-or-treating? I myself don't care how old a trick-or-treater is.

The last time I went trick -r- treat'n I was 11. Of course I was already 6' tall. People disapproved thinking I was older.

I would say kids lose interest around age 12. At 13 teens think it too childish.

I agree with you- whats wrong with people wanting to remember their carefree childhood and goin' treat'n. Your open minded. Thats a a sign of intelligence : )

I think I was 13. I went to a Halloween party when I was 14, and after that I didn't do anything for Halloween except dress up.

I think it's okay for people of all ages to dress up, but personally I think people 16 and older shouldn't trick or treat. Let the kids have their fun and their candy.

I was also 14 the last time I actually dressed in a costume and went door to door. I don't care how old my trick-or-treaters are as long as they are in costume, are polite, and don't push the little goblins out of the way just to get their own treat.

21. I love dressing up! There's nothing wrong with trick-or-treating, no matter what age you are.

People who think you should stop at puberty are just killjoys. Harmless fun sould never be discouraged. As long as you're dressing up and are polite, why is it a problem? There are many worse things people could be out doing.

I wouldn't look at it as oldest age
but when I stopped going out trick and treating
I would stay home and hand out candies
Although I saw some in their teens
one of them 17 or 18 years old.
and I am psyching myself up for tonight

I was twelve the last time I went trick or treating, once I hit the eighth grade I lost interest.

10-12 yrs old is plenty, after that if an older sibling wants to dress up and act as an escort is ok, as long as they are not taking candy from the kids as a "fee"

Maybe.
just until they feel embarrassed to be among so many kids. :p
I stopped by default at 12 and hadn't got a chance to since :(
I wouldn't discriminate the adults who DO come,
they'd get candy just for coming :)

I think 14 is about as old as you can be - people think your just a jerky teen if you are older than that.
