The Electron transport chain will allow for the overall production of the ATP molecules at a steady rate as it is produced during cellular respiration ! However, the japanese government along with teams of articulate scientists have produced in Japan several generators to increase the flow rate of ATP production to an increased rate of activity but there are obvious drawbacks utilizing such a system without proper monitoring devices to control the appropriate flowrate of ATP molecule production! Hope this helps?? ....XOXO Fonzie

The electron transport Chain allows energy to be slowly released instead of just going all all at once. This allows for the ADP and The Pi to absorb it and create ATP.
