The Hall of Fame easily. Do you know who Ed Spiezio is? Didn't think so. He won two World Series with the Cardinals (1964, 1967). Sure he can say he has two rings, but he can also say he hit .238 in his career and never reached 100 hits.

Do you know who Ted Williams is? Of course. Some people say he's the greatest hitter to ever live. He never won a Series, it's something he always wanted to do, but he never did. Yet his name comes up on many peoples lists of the greatest ballplayers of all time.

A lot of people may not even know who you are if you have a ring, a lot of people will know who you are if you're a Hall of Famer.

Here's a little trivia for you though. Ed Spiezio had the first hit, home run and scored the first run in Padres history when he did it on April 8, 1969. His son is Scott Spiezio, that clutch guy who also plays for the Cards.

Make the Hall of Fame. Any average player can win the World Series on a great team. But to make it to the Hall of Fame you have to be the best of the best.

Make the hall of fame :PP Because then I'd always be remembered for being a great baseball player :) But then again, what are the chances of making the hall of fame without having at least one world series ring??? But I'd still rather make the hall of fame.

Hall of Fame. Compare the number of players who have won a series to the number in the Hall of Fame. It is a much bigger honor to be in the Hall of Fame, it means you made a contribution to baseball as a whole.

Hall of fame! There's been plenty of players who have won world series and then have fallen off the map.
