What makes you think I waited until I was lost in the mountains? There are places in the world where cannibalism is not only normal, it is expected and honourable. And when in Rome...
For the record, human meat is almost always described as being like pork or veal. Link below for verification and good how-to details.

Of course, it is a simple chose, to cannibalize your dead, or die yourself. But that also depends, are there any other source of food? If so, I would eat that frist, and if I still am alive, I would eat the dead, which I preserved in the snow. If no, then I would eat them right away.

Absolutely.
Because of a strange lack of -shall we say- specialty delis in the area, I must often reach farther in the quest for meat. You see, what you may know as white meat is not really white meat. White meat is the freshly roasted leg of a well-built man exhausted and dead from a mountain climb. Furthermore, why must we stop with the dead? Personally (and I have been in this situation), I find that there is nothing like fresh white (or black, no racial borders here) meat to satisfy your hunger. Sure beats McDonalds, though they have practically the same ingredients.

If it was absolutely required for survival, then yes, I would.
There is no sense in starving if food (and food it is) was readily available beside you. I don't care if it was a human corpse; you can glorify the value of it all you want, but I will consume the nutrients necessary to live.

I've had some survival training and know of many edible things to eat before resorting to cannibalism, however if I was dying I might but I doubt that I would need to in most cases.

Yes.
In a heartbeat.
Mainly because, it's a well known fact:
Most who are lost and die in the wilderness, die of shame.
They are too ashamed to do what is needed to survive.
In a life and death situation, I'd be sure to rise above that shame and live on proudly with their memory.
Further, I would hope that my companions would use whatever resources, including my remains, to survive.
Not doing all you can to live in such a situation is a betrayal of oneself and of one's friends and family.

hmmm, who was travelling with me?
I mean, if we were taping "Simple Life meets the Donner Party", there wouldn't be much to eat would there? And if it was "The Biggest Loser", we'd have lots of competition for those first few "snacks".

If I were hungry enough...
If I were starving...
Why let it go to waste?
2 corpses are NOT better than 1.
