HP (XP) No Signal on Monitor. Help?

HP (XP) No Signal on Monitor. Help?

My friend has a computer and its an HP and has Windows XP. When she boots up the computer, the monitor says "No signal". I checked all the wires in back and all the connections and everything seems fine, i dont know why its not working. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Possibly the video card, but could be lots of things. Call a repairman.

Sounds like graphic card if its on board means you might need a new motherboard but but also it could be a faulty CPU have seen that cause this fault

Check your cables and that they're all connected into the right places.
