Of the two the housing is cheaper and easier to maintain in San Antonio. Housing is always more expensive near the coast and the salt air has a tendency to make the house paint last a much shorter period of time. Additionally the humidity is much higher at the coast thus leading to increased wood rot.
Corpus Christi is a nice little city, and I enjoy spending weekends there. It is a great place to go fishing. Otherwise, your entertainment opportunities, shopping etc are much more plentiful in San Antonio.
In general the San Antonio area has most everything, you could want, in a south Texas city. The humidity is less than Houston and the other coastal cities, but the coast is less than 3 hours away. It sits on the edge of the Texas Hill Country which provides rivers and lakes and other outdoor life. There are festivals in the area almost every weekend.
Most importantly, as you would be trying to move to a new area, the job market is much more open as San Antonio is a much larger metropolitan area.
But should you decide to move to either.
Texans are very particular about how you spell Texas.
And they like it if you spell Corpus Christi correctly also.

San Antonio, because there are more job opportunities, more things to do, several military installations in San Antonio. The Spurs! Fiesta in April, The Riverwalk around the holiday season, a couple of hours from Austin or Houston, great shopping, a very trendy downtown./

I think that San Antonio is the better place to live because there is so much culture and history. The Alamo, Sea World, the River Walk. It's amazing.

Corpus is nice if you like the port, but it doesn't have great schools or much of a city life beyond tourism. San Antonio has great schools, jobs, and a much more vibrant and active community. No ocean, but they river walk is fantastic.

In texas I find CC to be a better place to live simply b/c I hate the traffic SA has. There are also more places around the area to live so that you're not IN the city. I also believe it's cheaper in CC.
