there is a boy who goes out to his wheat field at nite and he is trying to see who is stealing his families hay, then theres a pretty lady that needs the hay, and she gives him 2 black horses with fire mane and tails. but the evil king takes his horses so he asks the lady again for something else, and this time she gives him a magical "donkey" with a hump, a hat (i think)and a blanket on its back and it can grant wishes i think. the evil king steals it and the boy rescues it and the king gets thrown into a pot of boiling water. there is also a "phoenix" type of bird in it and I can't remember names of anything. I am not even sure if it was American made but i watched it on Easter i think a long time ago. That is all I can remember from it.
Help me if you can!! I wanna know what that movie was called!! It is an animated cartoon from a while back

I know this was a book. It's called "The Little Humpbacked Horse." It was a really good story. I didn't know it was made into a movie. But here's info about it.

The Magic Pony! That is so weird, I was just thinking of this today.
It is a movie made in 1941 in the then-Soviet Union. The Russian title is indeed "The Humpbacked Horse", and you can find more information on Wikipedia under that title.
Unfortunately it is on DVD in Russia but not in the US or UK.
: ( I'm very sorry about that, it's a beautiful film. You could possibly find a dubbed VHS copy but if I remember correctly the copy we had was crap, the film was restored for the DVD release.
