It is undetermined.

A good rule of thumb is to have a varied diet, that is: everything in moderation. When a new "study" comes out and it is all over the internet causing a stir becuase "Popcorn causes cancer!" Everybody panics and then you find out that you have to eat 200 pounds of popcorn a month for it to cause a problem.

As long as you're not one of these crazies that only eats one thing, then you are probably ok.

So one person had thyroid cancer and believes it was caused from consuming soy. There's no data about soy causing breast cancer. To think that there's a correlation between a natural product like soy, and cancer is ridiculous. Try smoking it and maybe you'll get lung cancer. Better take the advice and just remember to live healthy with exercise and diet but remember that any cancer may cut your life short. Always get the cancer screenings when the time comes. I wouldn't be concerned at all with soy. I would be concerned with all the plastic being used for drink containers and saran wrap and plastics used in microwaves. Start researching that and you'll find the needed information.

Hey,
I got that in an email some months ago. I was quite surprised and concerned cause i used to eat lots of soy products. So i did some research... and found out a lot.

one thing is for sure milk manufacturers have launched something of a campaign against soy milk as it is interfering with their market.

I can forward you an article which basically answers most questions related to side effects of soy... In the meantime, it is best if you don't rely on soy alone for protein ... add variety to your diet. (by which i don't necessarily mean meat kind etc but even a variety of peas/beans etc)

Hi ! I have not heard about this. I am a regular Tofu consumer. I have heard of things that tofu leads problems in reproduction, but this has not been proved. Still .. nothing about cancer.
