I belonged to a trusteeship to pay a hospital bill. I made the payments up to a balance of 200.00. the hospitals attorney are taking me to court for an additional 700.00. Is this legal?

LET ME ADD, THAT I HAVE CONTACTED THE COURT TRUSTEESHIP TO PAY OFF THIS DEBT BUT THEY KEEP GETTING DIFFERENT INTEREST FIGURES FROM THE ATTORNEY'S ALSO. WHEN I ASK THE ATTORNEY FOR VERIFICATION OF THE AMOUNT OWED NEITHER OF US (COURT OR ME ) GET A STRAIGHT ANSWER, WHY SHOULD I KEEP PAYING MORE?

What were the obligations of the Trust?
What were your obligations as Trustee?
Were all of them fulfilled?
Is the Trust still in existence?
If not, was there any oversight or release from
responsibility for the Trustees in its termination?
Are you being sued as Trustee, (Representative of
the Trust), or personally?
Most Trusts are set up by lawyers.
You should contact the one involved to determine
your exposure.
