I was a beauty pagent contestant who committed suicide. I found fake wrist wounds at the costume store and wore a prom dress from goodwill. I made a sash that said "dead last". I got the idea from the movie Beetle Juice.
The worst costume idea ever is probably this guy:

Weirdest thing I ever got was loose change. What's the point of getting a few pennies? That's not even enough to buy a candy bar.

Oh man, the worst costume I ever wore for halloween was a bin bag with a pair of tights. I don't even know what I was dressing as. Or maybe my worst was when I wore my mums big orang t-shirt and tried to stuff it with balloons so I would look like a pumkin. The baloons just fell out of the t-shirt and I then had to go round town trick-or-treating wearing only a tshirt and (again) tights. It was cold.

Worst costume I ever had was a Hobo. Dressed in some dirty torn clothes, and used mom's mascara to draw whiskers on my face.

Weirdest thing I ever got on Halloween, one year I found a house where a guy was sitting on the porch with a bucket full of water balloons, giving them away to the kids.

When I was around 7 a man in the neighborhood gave out little bamboo jewlery boxes, a larger box contained a smaller box which contained a smaller box...you get the point. He lived in a huge house on the outskirts of the neighborhood so I'm guess he didn't get many trick-or-treaters, still weird though.

i've always gotten candy, the weirdest thing i've probably gotten is pretzels from my neighbors down the street.
and the weirdest costume i've ever seen was my 7th and 8th grade math teacher, dressed as marge simpson with a big tall pile of polyester on her head colored blue.
=) happy halloween!

When I was younger this house down the street from me used to give us religious pamplets about Jesus. They attached candy to them but you know everyone just threw the pamplets away and took the candy!!
