Do a google search for a Freecycle organization in your area. Also, check your local classifieds in the low cost section to see if anything comes up in your price range.

Also check out a membership to a college gym or to a YMCA. They are often very inexpensive.

And, don't forget that driving to a local high school and using their track is virtually free.
