Since we are just given variables and no associated numbers, all we can do is divide both sides by y. This cancels the y out on the "xy" side and leaves
x= (wt)/y

Divide xy by y to get rid of it. Unfortunatly it gets moved to the other side (do the same things to both sides) the answer would be X= WT

Y

wt/y=x because all you have to do is get x alone and to do that you simply divide and what ever you do to that side, you must mirror and do to the other thus wt the original term is divided by y to obtain answer x
