Ever since we moved to our new neighborhood(5 years ago), we never go trick or treating. Hes only 11 and I think he is missing out on a lot of things. I want to make up for all the times that certain circumstances prevented us from doing stuff together.

Should I take him? And if I do take him, it wont be around our neighborhood. People here are dead, boring, and too cheap to buy candy.

I thinik you should take him. It's always fun for kids to go around in costumes, get scared, and get free candy! He si missing out on alot, so you should try to take him. It is personally up to you, but i think you should take him :)

I understand what you are saying about your neighborhood because I live in a similar dead, boring, and cheap location. The key question to ask yourself is "how safe is the location that I am taking him"? Safety always comes first. But sure, take him trick-or-treating because you are creating another memory that he can share with you as he gets older.

Don't they have any fire halls or churches in the area that have Halloween parties? Take him in the car and find a neighborhood with a lot of kids going around and go with them.

yeah, definitely take him. sorry about the nieghborhood, but he will be thrilled if you take him. just do it, he'll be so happy! i can relate because i also have an 11 year old brother, only im being forced to take him by my mom. she says i ave to if i want to go, and really i don't mind it too much. im still going with a friend too. so yes, take him. my brother would be absolutely crushed if i didnt take him.
