We really should institute adult trick-or-treating. That was always the most fun part of Halloween, and besides, it's not like candy stops tasting good when you grow up.

Find some kids to go with (nephews or nieces), if not then throw a halloween party and have candy, I do agree with the idea of being as old as you feel but at 27 it's just wierd dude, if you want to feel like a kid again go out and do more tricking than treating, you'll love it ;)

I think that at your age trick or treating wont feel the same as it did when you were a child. I love to go with my kids but thats because I love to see how much fun they are having. I would say to take a relative or friends child that way you can still have fun and not look to out of place.

LOL, no it's not socially acceptable. But you can use the excuse that your child is home sick and you're trick or treating for them... shameful but I've seen it done plenty of times. I've also had BIG kids (adults) come to my house dressed to the nines trick or treating and yes I gave them candy, it was too hilarious not to give them candy.

maybe
:D
you're never too old to get free candy!
just make sure you either go with friends (around your age) or take a kid brother or sister or something to give you an excuse!

and totally! Really, I hope adult trick or treating establishes itself befor I get older :)
happy halloweeen

um, only if you are the mom or auntie. Go to a party instead, those are always a lot more fun than going door to door begging for candy. I mean, really, you are old enough to buy your own bag o candy...
personally, I would rather have a martini than a baby ruth bar...
Now, if they would fill my plastic pumpkin with that instead of candy, you may get me on board....lol!

Take a brother or some kids and bring yourself a pumpkin bucket and dress up in an adult costume.

Reasonable enough for people to give you candy.
Even though it might seem silly.

No. It's not socially acceptable ANYWHERE! If you want to have "grown-up" fun on Halloween, have (or attend) a party.
