Just because they sell it in a mall (Hot Topic) doesn't make it punk. Far from it. Punk is about being an individual and not following the trends (Emo). Wear what you want and listen to what you want. Question authority. Support local bands and your local scene. Let the touring band crash on your floor, etc. And always have your friends back. That is real punk.
