If so, why? What's wrong with someone being different or odd?

Yes, but later on in life, I would come to terms with and learn to embrace my own eccentricity.

Yes, this guy came up to me at work and wanted to chat about Satanism. I don't believe in all that Christian stuff, I am Wiccan (he knew that). So I listened for a while but I was so uncomfortable. I know this guy is off his rocker and I didn't want him to become obsessed with me or stalk me or some crazy thing like that. So I was nice to him, but now if I see him I try to hide! I just think it's safer that way. Sometimes people who are odd or different can be mentally unstable but not all are.

everyone is naturally repulsed and/or frightened by those who are "Different" or "Weird"

It's just an inevitable human trait. In this Politically Correct society most of us won't admit it, though.

Never, ever!
I'm friends with people of all different kinds.

Actually, I take that back. There's this girl in my class, and she gives you this looks like if she wants to kill you.
