A thing made of sticks and the clothes stuffed with cotton and wearing a hat held by a tight clear rope in a pouncimg at you like frame, i guess. From tha side of the house where you can see it also wouldn't hurt. Dang- why didn't i think of this yesterday- always at the last minute.... Or also hanging off the ground at a high height and peeking at you from around the corner.

Get a pair of panyhose, stuff with craft stuffing. Squirt "great stuff" foam insulations junk in/on the top part to simulate guts. Before it dries, stick in some plastic worms to dangle out. Paint guts with red paint. Hang these from the ceiling and they will look like the bottom halves of bodies, especially in the dark they look great. YUK!

I can see that you still have a lot to learn about creepy-looking things that keep dangling.
A "toe" would hardly be as exciting as some other things that normally dangle around. Use your imagination a little more please.
