I watched the democratic debate the other night (I was feeling masochistic), and noticed that HIllary was BARELY able to reign in her temper at several points. At one point she was openly scowling at John Edwards as he gave his answer. This got me thinking, so I googled stories about her temper while first lady and senator, and wow, the women goes off like an atomic bomb. If you support her, can you tell me why her documented tantrums don't worry you? Hillary could barely keep the lid on when being questioned by someone in her own party! Imagine when it's the head of state of a nuclear power! Throw in the fact that she goes over the top when her strength or authority is questioned, and you have the emotional recipe for disaster. Overcompensation isn't just for men and pickup trucks. Anybody besides me see a problem?

Oh, and I'm not a republican, and am not asking about temper tantrums by republican candidates or current officials. Let's stay on target. Please.

Yes I do.
She has been documented on a regular basis verbally abusing the people around her as well as those who just work for her (even those who are not political). She has some major issues that she needs to work on before trying to lead a nation.

I think that she was attacked the whole debate last night, and any one who has any emotion would have had their temper shown at some point. I think she did a great job deflecting the attacks, and showed that she would be able to handle a Presidential position as far as handling criticism.

I'm not sure what debate you watched, but she has never lost her cool in one. Also, why don't you try standing on stage with a group of people and see how angry you get when everyone is attacking you. I'm pretty sure you'd snap a lot quicker than she would.

Everyone here talks about her lack of emotion. Well, guess what? Anger is an emotion, so which is it? She has no emotion or too many?

My gosh, how quickly we forget when the news media swings in a different direction...

I remember the staff firings, her fighting Bill when leaving a plane and then trying to fire the FBI man that protected him...lol I remember all the arguments revealed upstairs in the Whitehouse and the things being thrown around, the relocation of the protecting FBI man at Camp David watching her and her girlfriend from California bathing together...! Hmmmmm..what about those swinger parties in Chicago when Bill was governor...? Of course, we should not ever forget her expertise in finagling the White Gate real estate scam...!

The list is endless, isn't it...???

Well, lets face it...aren't those the qualifications for president these days...?

Does anyone believe that Bill did not really inhale that weed...? errrr....anyone but Lewinski, I mean, as we all know she had a weed of her own...OOPS...!

Will she be a good president, probably not, and she surely will not make a difference for betterment... She seems to thrive on power and cares not whom she has to walk on to achieve that power. If by chance she does get elected, she will never build a cabinet suitable to run a country, expect that...

Oh well, another comedy show in Washington DC does make good copy...!

What is the purchase price for a president these days...?

Loved your question...lol

She did have a temper but I also saw that she was strong on her convictions esp. on Iran not having WMD's.

I am not in love with Hillary, Barack is my guy, but I will vote for her 200 times to keep Rudy out of the oval office, warts and all.

No. Our good ole friend George B seems to be a real laid back kind of yokel, but he's somehow managed to rack up quite a death count under his watch (that would put Gacy & some serial killers to shame). I like to see people with some passion (and some intelligence to go with it).

Plus, if you think of our forefathers and the starters of this great country - they weren't namby pamby, quiet, peaceful, introspective types (for the most part). They destroyed private property (Boston Tea Party) and made defiant speeches and such.

Nah, you have misinterpreted. This isn't temper, it is passion for her beliefs and her platform. It is easy to interpret it as anger or temper because you're not used to seeing that kind of straight on confrontation with a woman. I mean good lord look at Bush and his temper tantrums. The man is a joke, but his temper problem is not one of the things that has made him that way.

a healthy amount of temper is required for strength. if you do a search like that on any strong leader, you'll find lots of "tantrums". it's just that hillary is a woman, so some people think it's weird that she's not a pushover.

a lot of people trash democrats for being too "wishy-washy". maybe we need somebody with a little fire.

I think she is a liability all together, she brings out the worst in people too. Look at Obama, was a viable candidate, now he is just fighter with her and has no platform of his own. All of these idiots have forced me to consider an actualy honest person for president, Ron Paul.

Differently a liability! I bet she wears the pants in her family!
No wonder why Bill turned to Monica.

I think it's going to be great during the Presidential debates if she wins the nomination. My strategy would be to make her lose it.
