When I first met my girlfriend (who later became my wife), we were very much in love had sex hot and heavy, a month later.

She became pregnant. She was nervous, but she loved me so much that she wanted to have my baby, move out of her house and live with me and my folks.

I didn't want any of it. I didn't mind her living with me. But I didn't want any kids, so I begged her to get an abortion...we didn't have insurance so I pawned every piece of jewelry that I had...for her to get that abortion.

The day she got the abortion is the day her love for me died.

It's as if she had a transformation...a negative one.

That was in 1995.
Now we have 3 kids, and she begrudgingly married me...this after she cheated on me twice...called the cops on me and kicked me out the house.
Why? Because did all this because she told me that after the abortion, she changed. She said to me that she loves me, but she's not IN LOVE with me. After living like this for 12 years, I painfully know the difference. One of my biggest regrets is pushing my wife to have the abortion.
I've been living with half-assed love since 1996.

I regret that decision.

But GOD is GOOD.
That's another story.

Thanks for letting me talk about it.

YES
I tried heroin years ago and was hooked to it for a long time. I went through needless suffering and pain all because of that one choice. Since then, I quit and have been clean for 6 years
