when he did not veto one bill until 2006, despite the fact that Republicans were blowing money like madmen? A five year old could see past that logic.

LOL ! Bush control spending????? I wonder where the nine trillion dollar debt came from? He didn't veto one spending bill during his first term with a Republican Congress.

He knows that he has a following of Republicans in Congress and the Senate that will follow him anywhere he wants to go and people like Rush Limbaugh and his doodoo heads all lap it up and scream support for him.
He's invincible! Obviousely he can do or say anything! The constitution is a shredded piece of paper to him.
Thanks

How can you seriously question anything Bush says?
He is lots of things. Consistent is not one of them.

The spending we've done has gone to his buddies in one way or another. It seems that the super duper wealthy have managed to procure back all of their tax dollars. Brilliant.

I agree.
I wish they would curb even cut spending in Washington.
Dont forget to hold Congress accountable.
Even though Bush can veto remember its the Congress that spends the money. They are mutually to blame for blowing our money.

He means he is controlling spending, not trying to reduce spending. He is just deciding where to spend our trillions, not trying to reduce it. It's a play on words to trick the blind sheeple who still believe Bush is a conservative.
