I have a 05 m3 and looking for new 19" wheels. I saw the ASA ZR2 and the Breyton Spirit, but having trouble deciding. ASA is cheaper and lighter. Breyton is more expensive, heavier, but nicer looking.

Just wanted to ask which ones would people recommend in terms of overall quality.

At that size, you will need strength more than looks because you're bound to bend it out of shape at some point by falling in some kind of pothole.

Both wheels are popular with BMW owners; even though I think 19" is more suited to the 5 series (with it's bigger wheel diameter size) than the 3 series.

Appearance wise, I agree with you that the Breyton looks better.

BUT...

Maintenance wise, you're gonna ABSOLUTELY hate cleaning either of these wheels with so many spokes.

ASA because they are made my BBS which is one of the best wheel manufacturers in the world. They make wheels for BMW, Ferrari, and other major high end car companies as well as supply all the wheels for Formula 1.

ASA=BBS
BBS > anything else.
