I loved it! Then read the book afterwards since I've never heard of it before until the movie came out. It's so powerful and moving and has inspired me in many ways. I look at life differently every time I watch it at home.

There are actually several books.. but the first was really good.. It did not radically change my life... but it was good. The movie could have been better, but was STILL very good. It had some weaknesses.. which may only be apparent because I read the book first.. some things they left out, some characters left out.. I was the only one in the movie theater when I watched it first.. and when the dvd came out I bought it first thing in the morning..

I thought the books were great but the movie was just boring as heck!
