The distribution of the bottom 98% for 20005 is at

It should be nearly the same now except for a adjustment for inflation. For the fraction of income not accounted for on the graph ( incomes of the top 2%) see the numbers the IRS just reported. The top 1% got 21.2% of all income in in 2005
