This month i still havent got my period but i have irregular periods i get them at diffrent days of the month. i took a pregnancy test and it came out negative. I've also been stressing about it could that be the reason i havent got my period? I dont feel any pregnancy symptoms and i've been getting tons of cramps, what should i do?

Not likely. So what you did wasn't smart and you can get pregnant at any point in your cycle. You had a period after having intercourse, sperm generally only live for 48 hours (max.). You most likely didn't ovulate during your period and your chances of being pregnant is REALLY small.

Add to that the fact that you took a pregnancy test that was negative and you can be pretty sure you aren't.

Wait for a few more days. If your period doesn't show up take a HPT test with first morning urine to double check.

good luck!

If there was any form of penetration, you could be pregnant. There are sperm in a man's pre ejaculate as well as the ejaculate it self. So, yes, you could be.

On that note: stress can affect a woman's period. You could just be a few days late because you've be stressing over this.

If I were you, I'd do my best to calm down (I know it's easier said than done) and go get another pregnancy test in a couple of days. If you still don't have your period in a week or so, go see your doctor, he or she can talk to you about it, present your options, and provide you with another pregnancy test.

And... I don't think I need to say this, but next time, use a condom. And if you turn out to not be pregnant, I'd go visit your doctor anyways and ask him about contraceptives like the pill if you plan on remaining sexually active. Most health plans greatly reduce the cost of the pill so it's very affordable. I think you'll agree with me, that a few dollars here and there for condoms and/or pills is very worth it when it comes to preventing pregnancy scares.

Edit: The pill also helps keep your period regular. so, if you're having irregular periods, it's something you may want to look into anyways.

You know what, I am experiencing the same thing!! WOW. Thats exactly what I am going thru. I am still waiting for my period to happen for this month (November) if not, I'll go see my doctor. I've also been stressing out with school and projects so that might be the cause of the delay. To be safe, wait for the next period date and if its irregular or does not happen, see your doctor.

Have you had unprotected sex this month?

Oh. And I doubt you are pregnant. Especially if that one day you started your period, because it is impossible to have a period while pregnant. You are going through the same thing I went through last month, I was so stressed about being pregnant I took two pregnancy tests, and my period was 11 days late.

im sure you are fine.

Chances are very very slim. If you're due to start your period and a test came back negative, you're most likely not pregnant. Don't stress it. Wait a few more weeks and if you still don't have a period test again.

There is always a chance you can be pregnant if you have unprotected sex. But, normally in about 10days after you've had sex, if you are pregnant, a hormone called HCG will be present in your urine. Which means that it would have shown up in your pregnancy test. You're stressing is causing you to over analyze the situation. Hindsight is 20/20. You will never make that mistake again. ALWAYS WEAR PROTECTION.

It is possible.
Take another pregnancy test.
If it's the same result then your not pregnant.
But the irregular periods are quite worrying, it could be because of the stress or something else. I suggest you see your doctor about that

That is semi regular.

To get rid of the cramps, exercise by swimming or riding a bike. Sleep the normal hours. 8-10 hours.
That may help the cramps. If the cramps still exist, try going to a doctor or a gynocologist.

You're not pregnant. If you were, you wouldn't have gotten your period, as ovulation would've prevented the loss of the blood which is supposed to support a fetus. So that's out of the question. Check with your doctor to see what else could be up.
