A Guy phones a Hospital and yells: "You've gotta help! My wife's in labour!"

I remember when my second son was born I was convinced the baby was going to be a girl, in those days we didn't know beforehand, so when I rang the hospital from work to see how my wife was the Sister said "you have a beautiful boy" I said " Are you sure", and she said "I should know by now, I've been working in maternity wards for twenty five years".

This was a great one!! Often I have heard from other women that they have to get going to go home and fix dinner for her two kids. One being her baby and the other one being the husband.
I think he was more nervous that his wife was.

That nurse is unschooled, ignorant and careless. In Science we use words that are specific in meaning (especially in Medicine). Child can be anything up to 18. She should have asked, "is this her first pregnancy?" so the bloke was perfectly compos mentis.
