The shipping bin is the little red box near the bottom-right corner of your farm. That is next to the red house you can't enter. The box will bounce a little and make a sound if you get it right.

To use it, just throw items in. At 5pm you will be paid for everything in the bin. You can throw items into the box after 5, but you won't be paid for them till the next day.

You can also sell items to Vann, who comes to town ever day that ends in a 3 or an 8 and hangs out upstairs in the end. He offers more money than the bin does, but he price varies, sell, then cancel to try to get a better price.

The shipping bin is where you put the things you want to sell. It is next to your Dogs house (right of your house, i think!!) You need to go to your crops when they have grown fully, and press the A button. If you are unsure if they are grown or not, you should just try this anyway, as the game will only let you pick up ripe crops.
