How many miles per gallon does a 16' gas engine moving truck get?

I am renting a 16' Penske gas engine efi, and will travel 1500 miles. I want to know fact or experience in this exact truck. It will not be carrying over 1000 lbs.

Look for around 8 MPG. Maybe a bit more with a light load but not much more. That's why they have big gas tanks. It's basically the same frame and engine combo as some of the small Motorhomes and that's what they get.
