I'm trying to find out of this old game I played years ago is still around, and available for play today. It was a game played on a computer before windows was popular. It consisted of controlling lil ants or people and making them digg their way through a tunnel. You had to control what direction they went and tried to keep them alive. If anyone knows what I am talking about, please let me know!! Thanks.

Dig Dug was an arcade classic.
You had an air pump and you shot bad guys, pumping them up with air until they exploded.
Boulderdash and Super Boulderdash involved some tunneling also. I think you were hunting for gems... but could displace bounders which could fall and squish you.
Another one is Simant. you controlled any ant in an ant colony and could tunnel to bring back food or to get elevation for the queen in case it rained. But it is post-windows.
Lemmings is a game about keeping creatures alive; I don't think it involves tunneling though.

Sounds like Lemmings.-
The one where you could make them dig and build bridges, parachute etc. and had to get them to the exit.
I bought a version of this to run on windows last year in some video game shop so it's still around.

It was called SimAnt. That was the only one made, it was kinda like SimCity, they made one, it was fun, and they left it alone.
