So i download music and it goes to my shared folder. I have aton of stuff in there. As soon as it is downloaded into my Shared Files folder I open it with Itunes. Can I delete the stuff in my shared folders after it is in my Ipod? Or will that screw everything up with my Ipod?

The Geek Quad People told me I had to uncheck something in my Ipod so that it wouldn't erase the entire library. What are they talking about? I have a bunch of stuff in the shared folder that is already on my Ipod. i want to delete it so it frees up some space on my laptop. If I delete the songs in my shared folder will it erase the smae songs on my Ipod?

As long as the songs are in your iTunes Library folder, you can delete them from your shared folder.
