My iBook was stolen last winter, and the tracking software on it indicated to me that someone in Spain is using it. Will I still be able to recover it if it's in a foreign country? Is it possible to get foreign police to cooperate with me?

Why did you wait until now to ask about it???

If you are living in the USA,
contact your local police or FBI office.
If that doesn't work, try the laptop's manufacturer.
Of course, you will be required to show proof that it's actually your computer, and that you're not just trying to scam someone ('fess up! Did you give it to an ex, and are now seeking revenge?). Besides which, this may involve some cost on your part to retrieve it, as the company certainly isn't going to foot the bill, and it may not be worth it, after all this time!

IMHO, forget about it, and move on!
