I'm almost off my period and I have to keep going to the bathroom to pee very often, at least every 10 minutes or less. I also feel pressure in my lower area. It feels like I'm getting stabbed extra hard with a q-tip down there. What could be the problem?

Could be a urinary tract infection (UTI) should probably get that checked out if it continues but sounds like classic signs of an infection.

Urinary tract infection or pelvic inflammatory disease, see a doctor before it gets out of control. At least I'm not asking perfect strangers for medical advice. If left untreated it will spread to the kidneys and genitals,it happens when you get careless about hygeine in the bathroom. The longer you wait, the fewer options you have and the pain will get worse. It will soon feel like your kidneys are on fire and a burning every time you pee.

There are two infections a woman can get that are not too comfortable. a yeast infection which will look like cottage cheese. And a urinary tract infection which can also be treated if caught before things are a disaster. If you are having pain down there go see the Gyn. They useually can fix ya right up if you do not wait too long.

Sounds like you have a bladder infection or urinary tract infection brewing. If left untreated it could cause damage to your kidneys, not to mention the infection could get into your bloodstream making you seriously ill. Get to the doctor and get it checked out. A simple urine test will determine what exactly the problem is.

Sounds like a urinary tract infection. They will not go away on their own and can get so bad that you can't go to the bathroom at all, or that you are so ill you have to be hospitalized.

Go to the doctor.

more then likely it is a uti. You cannot go without treatment for a uti. YOU NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR! If you don't it could turn into a kidney infection and then sepsis. SEE A DOCTOR!

You've got an infection...drink a lot of water, and pee a lot, you should feel better. If it doesn't work, see a Dr. All you need is some pills. Nothing to worry about.
