It's Halloween tonight and I need to ask, will my house get egged or something? So far since I have moved to the house (for 6 years), nothing has ever happened. live on a busy street and I live in a pretty nice town. There is an upscale neighborhood if you are going up the street and if you go down you go past my house and then there is the neighborhood. So far I have only had 3 tricker treaters all six years. Because of the limited probability do you think this will happen?

Firstly it's "Trick OR Treat" not tricker treat. I'm sure you knew that already though. sorry for that.

This year I have made a sign a red outlined circle with the red slash through like a road sign, it clearly says "Say no to Halloween" it hasnt stopped them knocking and p*ssing me off, I 'll go and check the cars later I think.

I reckon when its your turn there is nowt you can do, until then feel lucky, its only a matter of time till the little b's get us.

Nope. I don't think it's likely at all. Once upon a time, when trick or treating was more common and you had tons of kids going house to house, and people were EXPECTED to participate, it probably would have, but not these days.

Kids know that not everyone does the Halloween thing. I mean, don't we drill diversity into those little brains enough? I think you can relax. I've lived 4 different places in the last 8 years, and this will be the first time I'll be home to give out candy and nothing has ever happened.

If nothing has happened in the past six years, why do you think something will happen tonight?

Probably not. If they do vandalize your house, then call the cops on them.

No, but "THAT" might! ;)

Good questions get good answers.
Yours could have been "Will my house be egged tonight?",
and then you would have received better answers (or not!).

Why would anyone egg your house? If you don't want to bother with it, don't turn on your lights.
