I have been in Dallas every since i was a tiny little baby i couldn't imagine living any other place it is the most perfect place on Earth (for me)!

I've lived here for about 30 years now, i.e. basically grew up here in the Dallas area. I have lived other places, but this is home. Boogie is right - the bugs are huge (don't you know everything in Texas is big?!), but the people are some of the most friendly that I have met in my travels. The traffic is awful, the pollution has increased dramatically in the last ten+ years. Shopping, dining, and entertainment (both for the economically-challenged and non-budget inhibited populations) are very good. Fort Worth seems to me to have a little more "class" and culture, but perhaps that's because it is based on "old money" and Dallas is based on "new money". The museums in Fort Worth are better than in Dallas, although Dallas does have nice collections at both the Dallas Museum of Art and The Meadows Museum at SMU. The Fort Worth zoo is outstanding, whereas the Dallas zoo (in my opinion) is not so hot. Of the two, though, between Dallas and Fort Worth, I will always choose Dallas. Home is home.

Yes I understand that but has many more beautiful places to live the world isn't Dallas but I would love do a visiting over there.

I've been there about 10 times for business trips over the last 25 years. Didn't get to see alot of the city but have eaten at some great restaurants and stayed in some really nice hotels. Also, we went to Fort Worth to a really good Mexican restaurant and saw a major league baseball game there.

Yup, all the time, my brother live there, a 5 hours drive from where I'm at. Love it, have everything a big city would have, and not as much problem a big city usually have. My only complaint about the place is that I think the population is expanding a little too quickly as compare to the city itself expansion, (i.e. streets and highway), not enough to accomodate the traffic volumns.

Yes.
Check out Longbranch Country Club...and Lone Star Country Club...if you love playing volleyball competitively, not to mention the live bands inside & out, and the rollerblade hockey rink. They're in Coppell, just west, northwest of Big D.
The city has grown a bit too big for my preference, since moved to the Hill Country (around Austin)...my biggest misses are the Cowboys (season tickets) and the Stars (season tickets).
Yes, Big D has something for everyone...
Ohhh yeah, almost forgot my favorite bar Sansuchi...LOL!

I stayed there when I was 15 because my grandparents lived there for a few years. It was really fun as I remember - so different from Michigan, where I'm from. It was summer, so really hot, but it was nice! I went to six flags, I went to the Galleria, I went to a Rangers game and I went to the pool a lot. We stayed in Irving. The people I met couldn't have been any nicer. I really enjoyed my time there and thought it was fantastic!

Many many times...I have a daughter that lives there & a son living 45 minutes south of there...we are all from Missouri originally, but are slowly becoming transplanted Texans. We LOVE Texas! DFW is a very cool area to visit as well as live!

Yup , I've been there to do work for my company , I liked it , the people are very friendly which surprised me after seeing me get off the airplane wearing a New York Giants shirt :))

I live in Fort Worth, Texas so yes been there many times.......And I tell you what for all you haters there is a few things you dont mess with
My family
My girl 'wish
My Country
My car
And you DAMN sure DONT MESS WITH TEXAS!!!!!
