It is ABSOLUTELY not proper for him to make any disparaging comments about your physical appearance or your home. That is the definition of a "hostile workplace environment". I would speak to your HR person/people & take the next appropriate action.

Report him to HR & leave. It doesn't matter if he gets scolded or not, work is stressful enough without having to put up with that garbage. It will drain your spirit day after day. Just leave, and do it soon. Unless you 2 are the only people in the office, it doesn't sound like anyone else came to your defense either. Bad workplace. Get out.
BTW, let this serve as a lesson on your next job or life in general. We teach people how to treat us. Tolerating bad behaviour *guarantees* you'll get more of it. You don't have to be nasty, but you must learn to set boundaries with people around you. There's no need to wait until the situation is intolerable (it's probably too late by then) to do something about it.

You sound canadian (I am) and, yes, this is a form of harassment. It may even be sexual harassment. If the business is unionized, speak to your union rep. If it's not, report it to HR. If there's no HR, consult a lawyer.
You boss is a narcissist. These types have no empathy and will say or do anything to humiliate others in an effort to beef up their self-esteem. Don't fight him alone, use the union, HR or a lawyer. You're better off not working for him and if that means you need to switch jobs, then do it.

yes this is abuse, but from your question I believe youare in Canada where you cannot sue an employer for " creating a hostile work situation" like you can in the states.

That might even be considered sexual harrassment. You should speak to him about it and asked that he stop and if he doesn't, you need to go to your Human Resources Dept. You shouldn't have to work in a hostile environment.

Yes it is. Consult your HR Director or Legal department, if he does not back off after you ask him to.
