Yes, my husband (who is NA) organized one while working with a NA organization.
It was very enjoyable. There are lots of vendors selling NA arts and crafts, and great food. It's amazing how good a piece of plain old frybread is!
If you go to one, don't miss the fancydancing competition. That's the best part! The South American dancers (like the hoop dancers) are really good, too. One of the South American guys gave me a really cool musical instrument that is the size and shape of a walnut, but is actually a type of flute.

Yes, and they're great events! The dancing is great, and there's nothing better than an Indian taco for dinner:-) Seriously, everyone should go so they can learn that Natives are people, not drunks or mystics who are talking to animals all day.

yes and have enjoyed every event I've been to. THE PEOPLE are very friendly and willing to teach those who are ready to learn. all one needs to do is respect and honor those who may think a little differently than themselves.
