In and of itself gluchophage is not a fertility drug. Women with diabetes or insulin resistance sometimes have trouble with irregular periods and ovulation due to their insulin problem. What glucophage does is treat the insulin issue, therefore, regulating the period...and therefore, restoring these women's fertility. However, if you don't have an insulin problem, glucophage will do nothing for your fertility. Glucophage doesn't always help women with insulin issues become fertile, but it definitely does help some women.
Good luck.

in women with pcos it is supposed to help.
i wouldn't try it for more than 3 months at at least 1500mg before adding fertility drugs. either way it may help fertilty drugs to be more effective.
i have pcos and am on metformin(generic form of glcophage).
